IRENE NAKALEMBE
PRESIDENT
Irene Nakalembe is the President and co-founder of Enervate Autism. Irene is responsible for realization of the organization's mission and resource mobilization.
Irene is a mother of three children with a child on the autism spectrum.
She is co- owner of Acres of fun pre school in Uganda.
A registered nurse with over 10 years of experience in medicine and hematology-oncology. She has practiced at Massachusetts General Hospital-Boston, Massachusetts, O'Connor Hospital- San Jose, California and Stanford university medical center-Palo Alto, California.
She has a bachelor of arts degree in Social Administration. A bachelor of science in Nursing degree and is completing a Master of science degree in Nursing - Nurse executive.
She is a firm believer that generosity and human kindness inspire growth and foster equality.
JOSEPH KIGOZI
VICE PRESIDENT
Joseph Kigozi is the Vice President and co-founder of Enervate Autism. Joseph is responsible strategy and marketing, sustainability of the organization.
Joseph is a father of three with one of the children on the autism spectrum
He owns and runs Joseph Kigozi Soccer academy(JKA) a professional soccer academy and agency for children ages of 6-16 in Uganda . He is co- owner of Acres of fun pre school in Uganda.
He has a passion to make a change in children and young people and believes in corporate social responsibility.
Joseph is a media Deputy Chief Executive at Next Media Services, Uganda.
He has over 17 years of experience in Broadcasting , Marketing and Strategy. He has worked for numerous multimedia consultant companies at Sport TV, Vantage communications, UBC TV and founding CEO of BBS Tv
He has a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology and currently in the Strathmore CEO apprentice program as well as an MBA student at Walden university.
He serves on several boards; Next media services, Reach- A -hand and Architects Registration Board.
Joseph has a passion to nurture a growth mindset in children and young people .
MICHAEL NSEREKO
SECRETARY
Michael Nsereko is responsible for assisting the Board to fulfill its fiduciary duty of due care in overseeing the organization.
He is a professional IT resource with technical understanding of banking business, systems and operations attained through his experience with bank IT systems and more specifically, data management, Digital banking and product development, over the last 18 years.
He is the Operations Director at a fintech firm that aspires to deepen financial inclusion through provision of affordable financial services to the unbanked.
He has served in several positions at various financial institutions in Uganda in the Information Technology, Corporate and Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Product development, Digital Banking and payments space.
He holds three diplomas in information and systems management, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Development Studies, a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and Master of Business Administration in Information Technology- MBA IT.
DR. JOSEPHINE NAMAYANJA KIWANUKA
BOARD MEMBER
Dr. Namayanja works to steer Enervate Autism towards a sustainable future through guiding adoption of ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies.
She holds a PhD and Masters in Information Systems from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the College of Management at University of Massachusetts Boston.
Her expertise primarily lies in the area of data mining and her research focuses on the utilization of data mining and big data techniques to support problem solving and decision making in various applications such as healthcare, criminal justice, finance, project management, cyber security, transportation, education, among others.
